B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate degree program that gives enormous job opportunities in electronics and software companies. All electronic devices need software interface to run and come with one other or other device controlling programs architected and developed by electronics and communication engineering.

It also gives great opportunities for research and development, as everyday consumer need new devices to support them in daily life. First year of electronics and engineering course dedicated to teach students about basic engineering techniques such as engineering mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering drawing to name few. From second year of studies student start to learn about core Electronics and communication engineering subjects like digital electronics and logic design, fundamentals of communication engineering, electronic circuits, signals and systems, power electronics, applied electromagnetic theory, integrated circuits, VLSI, control systems and computer architecture are just few to mention.

Program Structure:

In the first year, basic engineering subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering Subjects are covered.

From second year, students will focus on core subjects including Electronic Devices, Digital System Design, Network Analysis & Synthesis, Technical Communication, and Cyber System Security along with Internship & Mini Project.

 From third year, students will focus on core subjects including Electromagnetic Field Theory, Control System, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communication, and Microprocessor & Microcontroller.

In Final Year students will focus on current emerging subjects such as  VLSI Design, Optical Communication, Satellite & Radar System

 

We at Jahangirabad Institute of Technology have well equipped laboratories associated with the technical divisions. All labs are equipped with latest software and hardware to provide the current emerging technologies with research orientation to students to meet the challenges of sector.

Duration: 4 Years 

Eligibility:

  • A candidate must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks (40% for SC / ST) in aggregate from a recognized Board.
  • 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
  • Lateral Entry – Engineering Diploma holders with 45% (40% for SC / ST) or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at 12 Standard.
  • A candidate having grace marks is not eligible.
